Grounded
Grounded is our space for students and young adults (18-25) to get together to hang, pray, and study the Bible.
We meet every Sunday in term time for lunch (provided) after the morning service and a chance to talk and pray through the morning sermon together alongside church family.
Throughout the term, we also meet for socials and ‘Deep Dive’ sessions - exploring a big topic in more detail.

Jimmy has lived in Bath for the last ten years working with students for half that time and as a secondary English teacher for the other half. He is married to Becky and spends his free time reading, running, following Liverpool football club, and running after his three children.

One to Ones
Whilst at Widcombe, we encourage students to sign up for a ‘One-to-one’.
This is an opportunity to meet up with an older member of the church to look at the Bible together, pray and develop friendships.
It is a great way to get to know the wider Church family and deepen your understanding of God’s Word.
Weekend Away
Each year we have the privilege to go away for a weekend together, during Inter-Semester Break.
This is a wonderful time for building relationships, focusing on God's Word and worshipping together.
There will also be lovely food, games, chances to grow in confidence understanding the Bible for ourselves and perhaps even a dip in the sea!
